Quantity · amount mirror
Invoice total amount and total quantity are checked line by line against packing-list totals — even a one-cent gap is flagged red.
Product description consistency
Descriptions are normalized across all three documents before comparison — wording differences and inconsistent model styles are both caught.
Consignee, character by character
Consignee name and address are compared character by character — the LLC vs INC. suffix difference, not a single letter overlooked.
Gross-weight chain · smart tolerance
Packing-list and B/L gross weights are compared; a normal 0.8% variance passes in green, and only above 1% is it flagged red.
Package-count chain
A four-way comparison across invoice, packing-list header, packing-list line total, and B/L package count — no tolerance.
Volume chain
Packing-list and B/L volumes are compared; passed within a 2% tolerance.
Shipping marks / N/M check
Shipping marks are checked for consistency across all three documents; documents without marks are uniformly recognized as N/M.
Packing-list internal consistency
Each document is checked for whether header summaries and line-item totals agree — with hundreds of copy-pasted lines, a forgotten header edit is a high-frequency incident.
